The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), in collaboration with vision partners, is providing no-cost school-based vision
services for K-12 students. The purpose of these school-based programs is to offer vision care during school hours, while
students stay in school and focus on learning. Services include screening, examination, and prescription fitting program services
at select schools. LAUSD K-12 students are able to receive these services unless families opt-out.
